How to Write a Podcast Script That Sounds Natural
A good podcast script is structured — but not stiff. Unlike blog posts, podcast content should sound like speech. That means using contractions, simple words, and shorter sentences.
Start with a clear intro that hooks the listener and sets up the episode. Use a bullet-point outline for the main content, allowing for flexibility and spontaneity.
Always write for the ear: read it aloud, cut complex words, and include pauses. And end with a clear outro and CTA (subscribe, visit, email, etc.).
Writing for the mic is a skill — and your voice should guide the flow.
